Letter Island is a small typeface foundry located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands. In 2015 Matthias Beck, in collaboration with Lars Petter Amundsen, has created a digital version of the two lead fonts Graciosa and Graciosa Gris, originally designed by Carl Winkow for the Richard Gans Foundry Madrid in 1922.
As trained and vocational graphic designers, we share the passion for typography and experimental work in our letterpress workshop Tipos en su tinta.
